WE ARE THE OETKENS

We were high school sweethearts who have enjoyed many years working together as a team.  In 1975, we moved to central Idaho, built a log home, cattle ranched and taught our sons to appreciate Idaho’s great outdoors.

In 1985, we opened a Coeur d’Alene based computer business specializing in networking, CAD/CAM, and also pioneered the Internet into the Coeur d’Alene market. Our Boise branch office became the largest Tektronix printer dealer in Idaho, and sons Mark and Brent were instrumental in that success.

We sold our successful business in 1998, and traveled the United States to see if there was a better place to reside.

We soon discovered that Coeur d’Alene is unsurpassed for quality of life and achieving those dreams. Coeur d’Alene has proven to be a great place to raise our family, build a business, and watch our grandchildren grow.
